The 920m2 factory brings all Australian aspects of Emu camper trailer production under the one roof, for greater efficiency and transparency, with potential buyers now able to see camper trailers and box trailers coming to fruition.
The move precedes the release of two new forward fold models in June, the foundations of which will be imported from China prior to local fitout and customisation.
The Adventure Series and Desert Series 2 models will both feature independent quad shock suspension and a tight-weave canvas tent with galvanised steel tents poles, with the Adventure Series enjoying a 950kg Tare and the Desert Series 2 featuring a toilet and bathroom for privacy and comfort out on the tracks.
