Patriot, which has supported the show for several seasons, built the new rigs in under two weeks for show hosts Jase Andrews and Simon Anderson.
This year, the boys will tow a Patriot X1 All 4 Adventure 2016 Signature Series, which will be released to the public as a limited edition model later this year, as well as a brand new TH730 toy hauler.
The X1 2016 Signature Series has a wider chassis and a lower centre of gravity.
The TH730 is fundamentally the same as the TH610 toy hauler but with a 1200mm longer deck, capable of hauling two Polaris ATVs. It has a full kitchen and comes with 500kg-rated ramps.
The TH730 will be towed by a 79 Series dual cab GXL LandCruiser with a 300mm chassis extension, GVM upgrade and canopy on the back. Patriot installed a full complement of gear including roof racks, TJM barwork, winches, lithium batteries, a 1500W inverter, battery management system (BMS) and a full overhaul of the driver’s cab.
The second Supertourer is a 200 Series LandCruiser. It is the same truck All 4 Adventure used in the last series, but it has been stripped back and rebuilt with a Patriot body.
The LC200 features a 4.2t GVM upgrade and a new Patriot Mini Canopy – a new product which Patriot is still working on and plans to release to the public shortly. It also has lithium batteries, an inverter, BMS and room for a quad bike on the back.
